This is an introductory course on the basics of caregiving.  You will learn the basic tasks of a caregiver, how to communicate with your client and their families and how to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

Description

A caregiver is the term used to refer to a person who provides care for someone who needs extra help.  This is typically for elderly care wherein professional caregivers perform task related to home and personal care.  Caregivers typically do not work under the direction of a doctor and are not considered healthcare professionals.  Caregiver licensure and education requirements vary from country to country.
